I missed Kenny G's Shenzhen concert :.(
I'm not being sarcastic. He is very popular here and I could have bought a concert ticket for as little as US$8. You hear his music everywhere: in hotel lobbies, elevators, and often when calling others' phones before they pick up. Normally, Western musicians preform concerts in Hong Kong instead of Shenzhen. And here Kenny G was in Shenzhen and I missed it. As if there isn't enough to worry about in this world, comes this from MSNBC: American troops sold $2 million worth of weapons and combat gear, including assault rifles and night vision goggles to street gangs and to foreign countries, including China, in a wide-ranging criminal conspiracy uncovered by a Navy probe, according to military officials.
